Knit on the bias, this beautiful scarf is a great pattern for beginner knitters to practice their increases and decreases.  If you haven’t heard of knitting on the bias, its just a fancy way of saying knitting a diagonal shape. This is done by increasing and decreasing the same number of stitches in a row so that the total stitch count remains the same, while allowing you to shape the ends of the fabric.

Materials:

  • 2 Skeins of Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted Weight Yarn in Cream.

  • Size 10.5 (6.5 mm) straight or circular knitting needles.

  • Scissors.

  • Yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner.
